“The Murrieta Education Center Planning Commission agreed Wednesday to allow developer A.G.Kading to expand the site for the education center on Monroe Avenue by 33,000 square feet.”
“The $50 million education center is on schedule for a 2011 completion. City leaders envision the center as a satellite campus for community colleges, universities and other institutions of higher education.”

Is this Trustee Sparkmans’ end run to prevent the development of a Wildomar Campus Center? Leased space does not qualify for additional growth funds or operational revenues, making all FTES served in leased facilities subsidized by existing state approved campus/centers.
The MSJC BOT has had NO discussions on this project. Is it secret?

Note: Trustee Sparkman along with former MSJC consultant, Dr. Michael Maas, of Maas Companies; Richard Giese, former MSJC President; and Dr. David Long, Secretary of Education, State of California are project “Advisory Board Members”.
Sparkman may have a conflict. Who’s interest does she represent?
