MSJC/College trustee Joan Sparkman will not run for reelection/PE
August 15th, 2012FYI
“Joan Sparkman, a long time trustee for San Jacinto-based MSJC has announced she will not run for re-election.”
“Sparkman, 77, of Murrieta, wrote in an email Wednesday, Aug. 15, that it was a difficult decision for her. ”I just felt like every once in awhile you’ve got to step back…somewhere.” she said by phone.
Blog:
Two candidates qualified to run for the Trustee Area 5 seat representing voters in Murrieta/Temecula. The Riverside County Registrar of Voters website, lists Tom Ashley, as a “High School Teacher” and Guy Romero, as a “School District Administrator” with both qualified for the November ballot.
Mr. Ashley is the son of Riverside County Supervisor, Marion Ashley. Ashley filed a candidate statement while Mr. Romero did not.

This is very encouraging. Finally a large piece of the BOT corrutption is leaving. Now if we can get Kadow out…
