Former MSJC officers’ civil case advances/PE
November 15th, 2011FYI
“A Riverside County Superior Court commissioner has ruled that key issues in the civil case of four former MSJC Police Department officers may be tried in court, and gave one attorney time to amend legal filings on one issue to keep it as part of the case.”
“The college’s attorneys tried to get the case thrown out on a technicality, claiming their complaints, which were amended this year for a third time, were not filed in time, and failed to state sufficient facts to support the case going forward toward trail.”
Blog:
Said released officers reported PD concerns before the Board of Trustees upon release, however former PD Chief Segawa was not placed on administrative leave until months later when the District Attorney began an investigation into the complaints. The district never released findings of it’s own investigation in this matter.

It appears that the Plaintiff’s Attorney of Record uses the same legal explaination/excuse on all of their proceedings regarding MSJC. An reduntdant move that costs the College $$. One would think that the Court system would be coginant of this ruse over these past few years. Only time, patience, and Honesty will prevail. Hmmm…..’ only the Shadow knows ‘ !
