MSJC Ex-chief pressed on towing rotation/PE
October 13th, 2011“Former Chief Kevin Segawa admitted he lied initially when questioned by Riverside County district attorney’s office investigators about dealing with Pirot’s owner.
“Segawa said he understood he did not have authority to circumvent the procedures, but said his supervisors were aware that vehicle-impound fees collected by Pirot’s were being used for some purchases outside that process.”

The unfortunate fact about this issue is that district administration (new superintendent/president) readily defended the chief for months before the DA got involved and district accepted his resignation. The district’s internal investigative report was never released to the board.

Oh right, I remember the big investigation from the board and HR — what a joke. They backed their boy, like always, patted him on the head and let him keep his job and keep on collecting money with both hands from every avenue. Face it guys, that board is so very lame - time to shake it up and get some people in there who actually care about what is happening with the college and its students, not a bunch of head-nodders (Ann is the exception) who go along with everything idiot puppetmaster Kadow says. THINK ON YOUR OWN, DAMMIT! TRY TO DO THE RIGHT THING NOW AND THEN.
