FYI 3.67 TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR: Adoption of Resolution 2010-095 Authorizing Mt. San Jacinto Community College to Form One or More School Facilities Improvement Districts Under the Education Code, 1st, 3rd & 5th Districts.
“WHEREAS, MSJC has requested that this Board make the Law operative for the District in order that one or more school facilities improvement districts may be formed within a portion of the District and the voters within each such area may be asked to authorized the issuance of general obligation bonds to pay for certain school facilities improvements serving such area;” Etc.

NO information has been provided to me on said resolution and recent District BOT agenda’s have no such disclosure. In the interest of the taxpayers, it would seem most appropriate that MSJC administration would inform district trustees and the public prior to a request for approval by Riverside County.
Who determined the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Districts? Not the MSJC BOT.
