“Lawmakers are considering new proposals from Gov. Schwarzeneggar to allow community college districts flexibility to use more part-time instructors as part of the state’s massive budget cutting efforts.”
Blog:
Sounds good but class sections taught by part-timers will be those first cut by districts because part-time instructors are non-contractual. These sections are the most efficient and least costly to the institution, but can be cut at any time and they will go before any other sections. Jack Scott should tell Arnold how it works!
