According to the Clery Report, a compilation of arrests and crime statistics required annually of all colleges nationwide, violent crimes, at Cal State San Marcos were almost nonexistent for 2005 through 2007.

Per the Clery Act, campus crime stats for MSJC were last presented August 2007 at a board meeting. To be in compliance with the Clery Act, another annual report is due.
