“Top educational and business leaders will meet Sept. 15 to continue their quest for the key to raising the region’s rock-bottom college-going rates.”
“The Inland area has one of the lowest college-going rates in the state, with only about one-third of high school students enrolling in a California public university after graduation.”
Blog:
This topic should be of highest priority for MSJC at the board level. Serious board discussion and policy decisions should be made and implemented to enhance the college-going rates within the MSJC district. Status quo spending patterns need to be re-tooled/re-examined to provide greatest access to educational commodity to affect this change and serve more students within the district.
Hopefully, MSJC administration is participating in this upcoming workshop.
