High school debuts college level courses/PE

“Howard, one of 17 Chaparral junior and seniors will participate in a pilot program with MSJC, called Eagle Express. Students take a combination of high school/college courses with the goal of completing requirements and getting an early start on college and careers.”
“In Nuview Union School District, Nuview Bridge Early College High School has given students an opportunity to take courses at Riverside Community College District’s Moreno Valley campus since 2005.”

Offering college classes at high school facilities throughout the district is positive for students and saves the college district the expense of lease/staffing of outreach centers while still fulfilling the community college mission to increase educational access for residents throughout the district.
