The article is from the students point of view regarding the Barnes and Nobles bookstore at Riverside Community College. It appears that students are held hostage by for profit vendors. District contract kickbacks based upon percent of net sales only increase as sales increase. Why would the district oppose increases in book costs as their kickback increases with every price increase for the student?

I totally agree! Not divulging ISBN’s by a college bookstore is wrong and I was completely shocked when they told me this was their policy. Thanks for speaking out.
