FYI
“We are fully aware that we have 100-plus empty classrooms,” said board President Bob Brown.
At the district’s elementary schools, Sparkman (Elementary) has a whole section in its lower campus that is unoccupied.”
Blog: This article ran in the NCTimes two and half years ago.
How come Sparkman didn’t use her own named school to harbor the famous “Temecula Education Center”? If the lower campus remains unoccupied, MSJC would do well to investigate to see if classrooms can be used at a reasonable fee to increase class offerings in Temecula.? This should make Joan happy, as her name is already on it!

This just highlights the fact that there is no “plan B” for Temecula residents and students. Giese and the board had six years to get something going and nothing happened. That’s six years wasted. Kadow called the situation “unacceptable” and is now promoting a campus in the Banning area where there are currently 12 classes being offered. Who is kidding who? Will Temecula residents vote for a bond to build a campus in Banning?Let’s get real and plan stuff that’s doable.
