Blog:
Such evidenced hypocrisy, demands new leadership at MSJC. According to the audit, Giese and the college were notified by CalSTRS of the earnings limitation and the required reporting of post-retirement earnings as early as August 2005. Giese did not ensure that the college properly report his earnings. With the subterfuge in these quotes, I believe there was intent to defraud CalSTRs on this issue and that is why my inquiry was as Tyler put it “problematic”.

Very interesting…let’s see what the Sept 5th final report brings to light.
And how about Tyler in public board meetings first saying the STRS law didn’t apply, then saying Giese was exempt, then saying it was between Maas and Giese, then saying they didn’t know how to report it, and finally saying they didn’t know what to report?? As if Giese himself didn’t know what he was being paid. And Tyler gets a raise and promotion for this conduct. Will Kadow and Sparky be held accountable in November?
