“Mayor Knocking; MSJC isn’t answering”
August 25th, 2007http://thevalleychronicle.com/articles/2007/08/24/news/07nayres.txt
The article by Charles Hand, ran in the Valley Chronicle this week. Mayor Jim Ayers is getting the same “silent treatment” from JTyler. The Mayor spoke before the BOT on August 9th, not the 16th, over two weeks ago and was well received by the board. A good board would not allow this type of treatment towards an elected official. It’s despicable.
“Getting 10 elected City Council and board members’ schedules coordinated will be complicated, especially considering the need to coordinate with staff members on both sides.” Gene Kadow
Blog:
Kadow is running his election campaign on a platform of “accountability”. His comment is clearly a district stall. If Kadow wants something done, it gets done. If not, it stalls. Good luck Mr. Mayor.

I can’t imagine why Mr. Kadow would turn down a meeting with the mayor. If this is too complicated for him to arrange then how does he gain community support for bond issues and other matters? Perhaps Kadow should step down and allow someone younger with fresh ideas to replace him. Perhaps a college supported or approved public forum is in order.
